The download
A friend of mine recommended this site to me a few weeks
ago and I thought it would be worth a good look, see
what she was raving on about. I opened my firefox browser
and headed on over to the fulltilt website (www.fulltiltpoker.com).
I always start off with a good old look around the site
and I was very impressed with the amount of detail on
the site, with help being offered as you would expect.
I found the information especially helpful for new poker
players; which is something I haven’t found on
other sites much.
I decided that as I was writing a review on the poker
room, I had best download it. The software download
and install was very quick and simple. Within a few
moments I had downloaded the required software, set
up my account and I was ready to play. I didn’t
have to deposit any real money in order to be allowed
on the play money tables. So far so good.
The tables
The number of different types of poker on offer is more
than I have seen on any other site out there. Not only
do they offer the ever popular Texas Holdem, but they
also offer: Omaha h/l, Omah Hi, Stud, Stud h/l and Razz.
I’ll be honest with you, I have only ever played
Texas Holdem, so anyone who plays any other type of
poker, please come on over to our forum and tell us

They also offer the usual sit and go tournaments, Multi
table and satellite games. As with many other sites
they do offer freeroll games, but these require you
to build up points by playing in real games; which is
good in a way, as you know that the people you will
be playing against will have played quite a few real
games online and will offer a bit of a challenge.
The look and feel of the tables can be changed quite
a bit; main options are to show or not show the aviator,
down to the colors being used for the deck of cards.

Fulltilt poker room offer a massive $600 100% deposit
bonus. This has terms and conditions attached to it
as any other site, but this is one of the largest deposit

and monthly tournaments. At the time of doing this review,
the monthly prise was $60,000 for first place. This
just goes to show how established and how big this site
actually is.
My thoughts
When I first logged on to this site I was not over impressed
with the default layout, but as you will see from our
screen shots, they can be changed to something you find
more pleasing on the eye. After all, if your going to
be spending a few hours looking at a screen, you will
want to change it to something that looks good. The
more I looked through the site and played about with
the settings, the more I became impressed with what
was on offer. The real money prize fund on offer each
day, week and month was very impressive and must be
getting the visitors in order to be able to offer such
a large amount of cash. This means that you will never
be short of finding someone to play a few hands against.
I have found that I will pop back at least once a week
to play a few hands and see what is going on. It isn’t
the main site I play on, but a change is as good as
a rest and this is a site that is very much worth a
look. My favorite site is still pkr.com though.
